I've Got A Fever!

Last week when this manicure was on my fingers, I was not feeling so hot. A comment from my sister-in-law about my low grade fever immediately sparked this idea for a manicure! It also was a nice, bright, pick-me-up for my week of cold.

I painted three coats of China Glaze Free Love and added a mix of MAC Pigment Glitter in Red and added a touch of LA Splash Cosmetic nail glitter in Golden Egg. I coated the manicure with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

Fanning Flowers

I had another new Zoya polish to try and showcase, plus some Konad plates I have not yet used for a manicure. So I killed two birds with one stone! I love that. I was hoping to capture the multicolor shimmer of this polish, not sure that happened, but know that the color is quite pretty.

I painted three coats of Zoya Valerie and then used Konad plate m75 and their Special Polish in White. I topped the manicure with a coat of Seche Vite.

Pot O' Gold!

I owe you more manicures than this one, but since it is St. Patrick's Day and this manicure is good only for this one day, I need to post. Not sure how much I like the final result, but I think it's growing on me. The influence is obviously the lucky gold guarded by the sneaky leprechauns. Hope luck finds you today in whatever way possible!

I painted three coats of Ulta Black Diamond. I added NYX Glitter on the Go in Glam Gold for the tips; used Bundle Monster plate BM03 with China Glaze In The Lime Light for the clovers. I used CND Super Shiney as my top coat.

Pretty In Purple

I had sparkles, bling and easy manicure in mind for this recent creation. It turned out very pretty!

I first coated two coats of China Glaze Spontaneous. Before it completely dried, a mix of LA Splash Nail Glitter colors in Viola, Illusion and Golden Egg. I topped it all with a coat of Seche Vite.

Swirling Souls

I couldn't decide if this water marble looked like smoke or an Apparating soul a la Harry Potter. Either way, I loved it's simplicity and how the nude polish really made the charcoal pop. This is the second time I've used this nude color. And truly, the natural light photos make it look much more orange/tan than it is. So the flash pictures are more true to color. It's very pretty.

I painted two coats of Zoya Skye and then marbled Skye and Kelly together to create the look. I topped the manicure with one coat of China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

Gray Sparkle Crackle

Sometimes laziness prevails. I apologize. I have been painting my nails per usual, but I haven't had the energy to post. Unfortunately my laziness has also transfered into pictures as you can see some major tip wear in these photos as I took them after a day of wear (but to my credit, crackle creates tip wear automatically by shrinking polish). But having a blog demands getting over my laziness!!!! So here is my first of several posts....

I painted my nails first with two coats of Zoya Harley then when still wet, I applied LA Splash Nail Glitter in Golden Egg. I sealed the glitter with a coat of clear nail polish and then used China Glaze Crackle in Cracked Concrete. I finished the look with one coat of Seche Vite.

Tried and True

Nail polish and glitter. It's one of my go-to techniques when I need a quick and pretty manicure. I really love this color combination. Kelly is one of the new colors I received in Zoya's promo that I have not yet tried out and this glitter is a new addition to my collection as well. They are perfect in their match!
