So my last mani lasted a day. Bummer. But that just means I have another chance to polish my nails. I love this "
foil" polish from Orly, so I wanted it to take center stage in the manicure.
I used Orly Rage. I then striped the tips with China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint and Something Sweet. I topped the manicure with two coats of Seche Vite.

Love love love the foil!!! this is one of my favs :-)
I'm with Ginger the foil color is so pretty! Nice take on the French Manicure.
I like this one a lot!
out of curiosity what do you consider a foil? I've been trying to find some when shopping! Is it mostly a "glitter" polish? What shops do you tend to find your polishes at? (I live in a VERY small town! So the nearest place to me that sells polish is a Walmart!)
Foil according to this post is regarding the polish. Orly has a line of three colors that are supposed to resemble foil on the nail. It's basically super saturated silver, gold or rose gold glitter.
As far as where I get my polish, I mostly shop at Ulta or Sally's Beauty Supply because they carry my favorite brand(s). I prefer China Glaze and I like the amount of colors OPI has, but I'm not always satisfied with their application and wear. And I do like Orly's colors, but they don't seem to wear for that long. That's my recommendation for "Salon Brands".
However, if you are looking for non-salon brands, I also have opinions there. I would steer you towards Revlon or Sally Hansen. Revlon wears and looks good, Sally Hansen has tons of bright and great colors to choose from and has decent wear and application.
More than that, I say just buy and try. Get something cheap if you like it, when you have the chance....splurge. Or there are also several online stores that sell polishes. If you see something here that you like, many places will sell you it over the Internet.
Good luck with your search! Thanks for the question.
