Distressed Much?

This manicure started as one idea and turned out as another and at first I was disappointed, but then I really liked the final result. I love the green from China Glaze, but I get so mad when I take it off and have yellow/green tinted nails when I wear green polishes these days.

I used China Glaze Four Leaf Clover and then used Lemon Fizz for the yellow Konad pattern. I first used the plaid design from plate m60, but didn't like how it turned out. I then put the diamond hatched pattern from plate m57 over it. I topped with one coat Seche Vite.

  1. ooooh I LOVE this one! Do you do a lot of double-design mixes?

also, are you catching up on posts at Kari's? :) I miss you.

  2. I am borrowing a computer for these posts. With my laptop dying, I've had so much to catch up on. It's sad that my nails can't be seen by all of you unless I bring my camera to someone's house and upload. Boo! I thought our computer replacement was going to be here by the end of the week, but now it seems it won't be until Tuesday of next week!!!! So I hope these satisfy you all for a while, but I WANT MY COMPUTER!

  3. Oh, and the double design was more to fix what I thought was a very bad Konad job without having to redo my whole
manicure. But sometimes mistakes turn out great!

On the other hand, I try to think of ways to adding to "typical" manicures by doing a little extra--like double marbling or this Konad idea.

  4. I love that green! Very cool! I understand about having the "tinted" nails after removing polish...One of my FAVE polishes does that as well!

  5. Yay for nails! I've missed them ;) Just curious, but how often do you have do-overs? If I mess up once I just say forget it & go with the mess up or nothing at all. However I'm sure your patience is MUCH greater than mine when it comes to nails, haha.
